Joint Managing Directors Pawan & Aman Sharma make the prestigious Forbes Under 30 Europe 2019 list!
We’re thrilled to announce BTS’ joint Managing Directors, Pawan and Aman Sharma, have been recognised by the globally recognised Forbes Magazine, in their annual compilation of Europe’s 30 Under 30 figures within the Retail & E-commerce industry.
Inclusion in this years Forbes list marks a significant milestone for both the business and the management team, and recognises the successful completion of a strategic 5-year operational restructuring & turnaround plan. After the closure of their fathers knitwear factory in 2013, the brothers quit their corporate jobs and relaunched the business in 2014 as a fledgling fashion start-up, specialising in design and supply chain management. Starting as a small team of 3 people in 2014, the business has grown significantly and now employs 30 people in its head office, and works with an array of high street and online fashion retailers.
Commenting on their inclusion on the list, Pawan notes: “For a small, privately funded business like ours to be recognised by an international publication as highly regarded as Forbes is a huge honour and privilege by any measure, and we are beyond thrilled to have been included in this years list amongst huge names including Jess Glyne and Daniel Radcliffe! It’s quite unbelievable!”.
The shortlist was whittled down by an expert team of judges, including Nathalie Gaveau (Founder, Shopcase), Susie Ma (Founder, Tropic Skincare; BBC Apprentice Runner Up and Forbes Under 30 Alumni 2018) and José Neves (Founder & CEO, Farfetch.com).
